SIPPhone
A native SIP softphone for macOS built on PJSIP. I wrote it for myself — I couldn’t find a client that doesn’t hide the protocol and still does what a real desk phone does: multiple lines, hold, transfer, conferencing.
Features
Any number of SIP accounts at once, with per-account registration status.
A second call during a conversation shows as a banner, not a separate window. Switching between held calls works like switching tabs.
Blind — straight to a number. Attended — talk first, then connect with one button.
Merges held calls through PJSIP’s own audio mixer.
A local ringback tone while waiting for pickup, plus 4 selectable ringtone patterns, with a dedicated output device.
A detailed PJSIP log written to disk, plus live RTP counters right during a call.
Installation
Signed ad-hoc, without a paid Apple Developer ID — macOS Gatekeeper will ask for confirmation once, on first launch.
